For me, these are a really useful size for freezing & re-heating single portions of marsala, chilli, boly sauce etc.They stack neatly both empty in the cupboard and filled in the freezer Being square they don't waste much space.Base more translucent than transparent but clear enough to identify contents if colour coding schedule goes missing.Tomato based sauces do cause some discolouration and microwave heating has produced some slight internal blistering.I have to dispute the "airtight" claim. Those I've tested haven't been water-tight much less airtight. Probably safe enough if inverted with solid or viscous liquids as lid is quite secure if fitted properly.
