Considering its size, the sound is impressive. I've heard many speakers this size or even bigger that sound thin and have little bass. I don't know how Bose do it, but this does have a surprisingly good bass and the overall sound is very good. The size is just about right for a portable speaker.Operating it is very easy and it's simple to pair. If you have multiple devices connected to it, you can control those connections further with the Bose Connect app. Switching it on and off, it a simple press of a button. You also have the usual volume up and down and pause/play/skip button. Battery life is good. I've not ran it to 0% but I used it for five hours once and it got down to 20%.It has a rubberized feel to it, which gives it a bit of a rugged feel. It also has a strap on the back which allows you to attach it to bags, bikes etc. I also like the waterproof feature, so you don't have to worry about getting it wet and can take it into a humid bathroom or even the shower without worrying if you'll damage it.If you've got £100 to spend on a Bluetooth speaker, I don't think you'll get anything better than this.
