Well I would have given this bluetooth speaker only one star because the sole reason that I purchased it was to increase the volume from my mini-iPad. I was under impression that this speaker would be louder but when the first one came from Amazon it was really very quiet - no point in me buying it. However the suppliers asked me via email for my comments and when I explained the problem they were right away on the case. I received a replacement D51 speaker which is excellent. The quality of sound is very good - clear and no distortion and it is plenty loud enough. Altogether I must say that this deserves its five stars, I would recommend this to anyone.
