Comparison with original Anker:Much the same treble but much more powerful bass. Bob Marley sounds amazing on this. Powerful despite size. At max volume and with bass boost it sounds as good as speakers 4x it's size from only 10yr ago. 😎.Original Anker has at least 2x battery life. Also has metal speaker grill and no flap over USB port like the boost does.Original is also smaller and has dedicated Bluetooth pair button. Original is ideal for picking up in one hand and carrying from room to room. While the boost is a bit too big to comfortably carry. Annoying USB flap. Also has fabric speaker grille. And shorter battery life. Boost does feature battery level indicator though...4 white lights. No battery indicator on original.I'd say the original is ideal for kitchen, bathroom and for taking outside where it will last much longer. It's much more wipe cleanable than the boost.Boost is better for living room and bedroom or even a small party. The bass really is that powerful. Suits somewhere you can usually plug it in and where there is not much mess or splatter.Boost also features NFC but I've not even worked out what use this has yet. I do wish you could make two connect to the same phone /source though. So then you'd have stereo sound. Anyone know if it's possible?Overall very happy. 😊Read more
